Lt Atul Katarya Memorial School was set up in the cherished and nostalgic memory of its shaheed namesake, Lt Atul Katarya, S.M. (Veerta). Hence, its vision is also commensurate with his compassionate nature. Our roots, anchor and aim are singular and unique. For us too this 7 letter word "SUCCESS" is omnipotent but the means of achieving it is as important as the end itself.
Seeing the present day scenario where the child is pushed to the limits of his endurance by his parents and teachers and realizing its repercussions, we beg to defer from the hackneyed trend. Academic excellence coupled with brilliance in co-curricular activities are no doubt what we hope for as well. However, for us, they are just incidental. Our focus is on building, creating good human beings replete with values; people who are ingrained in their culture and rooted to it, who are aware of its very ethos and existence, who are rational human beings, able to think, analyze and decipher for themselves, decide between right and wrong, overcome all obstacles and come out unscathed from all.
Apart from building a good character, we also hope to help shape well rounded personalities over here which is an amalgamation of mind, body and soul. We want to help carve confident children, living replicas of Atul who can permeate the same exuberance and positive vibrations all around themselves and make for a developed and powerful India which is our aim for our students and our school.
The School has been established with the aim to:
1.Provide quality education without distinction of race, religion, caste, creed, sex or social status, within affordable means.
2.Holistically develop students' intelligence and channelise their potential into creative outlets. Inculcate right values, leading to all round development of the children into wonderful human beings drenched deep in Indian culture.
3.Provide a chaste environment where children feel happy, secure and loved so that learning is an enjoyable experience instead of a burden to be borne.
It is our mission to blend the strong cultural fundamentals of the Guru-shishya heritage and other traditional systems with advanced modern learning tools.
